San Francisco Adult Entertainment: San Francisco Marina Hotel Ranks Filthiest Of All

Scott Kleinberg with the Red Eye posted about the 10 dirtiest hotels in the nation as ranked by TripAdvisor, slamming San Francisco’s Heritage Marina Hotel California as the filthiest of them all.
In an effort to see what this alleged petri dish was all about, we checked out a few reviews. Brace yourselves.
“First and foremost no one should ever walk into a hotel only to find prostitutes walking around the inside … [A]s soon as we walked in to the room there was an awful cigarette smell not only in the air but in the sheets. I went to the restroom i kid you not a minute after doing my business i heard as if someone had thrown a bucket full of water. I went back into the restroom and there was a huge hole that had just opened right on top on the toilet from water coming from the room on top.”

San Francisco Adult Entertainment: A strong start to a new mystery series

A strong start to a new mystery series

“City of Dragons” by Kelli Stanley; Minotaur (352 pages, $24.99)
Unconventional characters provide the backbone of the mystery genre. And Kelli Stanley’s riveting new series about 1940s San Francisco private investigator Miranda Corbie revels in the character’s uniqueness without resorting to cliches.
Miranda’s former life as an “escort,” a euphemistic attempt to soften that she sometimes was a prostitute, is only part of the back story of this very complex character with a dark past.
The gritty, hard-boiled “City of Dragons” works as an insightful look at racisim and sexism. Stanley never misses a beat as she also shows San Francisco’s hidden corners, seething emotions in the days before WWII.

San Francisco Strip Clubs: Charlotte Bobcats’ Stephen Jackson expects to be booed in return to Oakland’s …

… I was booed while I was playing there, so I know I’m going to get booed. But I won’t pay any attention. I get booed in 15 arenas. This won’t be any different to me. Just some people are bitter. But that’s part of the game.”
Jackson
has once again revived himself and his NBA career — and in the process the team that rescued him.
He was Indiana’s trash before he was the Warriors’ treasure. He clashed with coach Rick Carlisle, with fans in the stands of the Palace at Auburn Hills, with some men outside a strip club in Indianapolis. By the time the Warriors got him, in January 2007, Jackson was the poster boy for what was wrong with the league: the menacing look, the fast-lane lifestyle, the occasionally poisonous tongue.

San Francisco Adult Entertainment: San Francisco Eliot Spitzer

As Spitzer spoke, audience members penned questions on small note cards collected by moderator Mary Cranston, a lawyer and former chair of the Commonwealth Club board. There were some finance-related questions, but as it turned out, even this genteel audience couldn’t resist inquiring about the scandal. “I have a number of questions around your resignation as governor of New York,” Cranston said. “Obviously it was a difficult circumstance…What advice do you have for young people considering political careers? Although he said he wasn’t the one to give advice, Spitzer warned of risks and temptations inherent in an otherwise noble profession. “Be smarter than I was,” he said.
Cranston didn’t drop the issue. “America loves a rebirth story,” she said. “Will you go back into elected politics?” “Absolutely not on the horizon,” Spitzer said. That was disappointing to Barbara Collins, an East Bay woman interviewed after the event. “He should be back in politics, definitely,” she said. “He’s one of the few who actually went after anybody in power.” As for the prostitution thing, Collins said, “it’s really not anybody’s business but his.”

San Francisco Strip Clubs: Apple Announces iPad

Physically, the iPad resembles a large iPod touch, with a 9.7-inch multi-touch screen that, curiously, offers a 4:3 standard aspect ratio rather than the expected widescreen display. (It runs at 1024 x 768 resolution.) The device is also oddly ugly, for an Apple product, with a very wide bezel around all four sides of the display.
Apple is offering a whopping six different versions of the device, at prices that range from $499 for a stripper model with a lowly 16 GB of storage and no 3G wireless connection (all iPads do offer 802.11n connectivity however) to a more Apple-esque $829 model with 64 GB of storage and 3G. Of course, 3G connectivity is not included in the price (as is the case with Amazon’s Kindle eBook reader), though Apple is offering some affordable pay-as-you-go plans, including 250 MB of data for $15 per month and unlimited data for $30 per month. These plans can be started up and stopped at any time, and do not require a contract. Sadly, they are available through AT&T only.

San Francisco Adult Entertainment: Sex Addiction or Simple Cheating? How to Tell the Difference

Posted on January 27, 2010 by littlegirlinthebigcity.
Categories: San Francisco adult entertainment.

How do experts tell the difference? One major clue is if you spend most of the day consumed by sexual urges, fantasies, and activities. Another is if you spend an excessive amount of time engaged in sex, to the extent that it leads to adverse consequences like getting fired or losing custody of your kids. “We also need to do a careful assessment to determine what seems to be causing the problem,” says Coleman who treats about 100 new patients a year for hypersexuality.
For instance, a sexless marriage that drives a spouse to prostitutes or serial affairs may not indicate a psychological disorder. Nor does a porn or masturbation habit. “I’ve seen young single men who want me to treat their compulsive behavior of masturbating several times a week, which goes against their religious values,” says Coleman. “But they really have a conflict with their internal value system, not a mental problem.”

San Francisco Adult Entertainment: Wit of ‘Rosencrantz’ tickles funny bone

Stoppard is, without a doubt, playing with us. But audiences from teenagers to seniors during a preview Thursday and on opening night Saturday evidently found it fun — they laughed and giggled and guffawed throughout.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern bat cleverly written lines back and forth like Abbott and Costello in “Who’s on First?”. Jonsson, the dimwitted Costello to Storm’s straight-man Abbott, hit every word with just the right comic tone.
But the stage really lights up with the entrance of The Player, the leader of a roving troupe of would-be actors called the Tragedians — played by Aleph Ayin, Paul Festa, John Hilinski and G. Randall Wright.
Down and out, the Tragedians have turned into “a comic pornographer and a rabble of prostitutes.” Funny ones, though, equipped with ukulele, trumpet and fiddle.
