The university claims that allowing all students to participate in all advocacy groups will not water down their messages, nor lead to hostile takeovers by opposing students.  But this harsh policy drove off campus an evangelical Christian group called the Christian Legal Society.
CLS was formed a half century ago as a fellowship for Christian lawyers and law students.  It requires its members and officers to agree with its Christian statement of faith.  UC-Hastings views this as “religious discrimination,” because CLS would not allow atheists or Buddhists to lead its Bible studies.
CLS also requires its officers to live by certain biblical conduct requirements, such as no stealing and no sex outside of marriage.  UC-Hastings views this as “sexual orientation discrimination” because those who commit adultery, hire a prostitute, marry multiple wives, or engage in homosexual conduct would not be allowed to remain in CLS leadership absent repentance.  CLS learned that Hastings did not require any other student group to accept people who disagreed with its beliefs, so it filed suit.

San Francisco Escorts: Hannity’s evolving standards on the questions a Supreme Court nominee must answer

HANNITY: I guess where I am on this, if you look at Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I mean, she — the Ginsburg rule, she doesn’t have to answer specific questions, clearly pro-choice going in, thinks there may even be a constitutional right to polygamy, has a controversial view we should lower the age of consent to 12, supports legalized prostitution, very left-wing.

HANNITY: You know something? You know, I know you’re not going to admit this, Eleanor, but your party has been cooperated by the hard left. MoveOn.org, Michael Moore, Ted Kennedy, they’re basically all one and the same as far as I see it.But you know something? G. Gordon is right. Ruth Bader Ginsburg didn’t have to answer tough questions on important issues. She invoked the Ginsburg rule. It’s a woman who once supported the idea of legalized prostitution, was open to the idea of a constitutional right towards polygamy, and the Republicans voted for her.Why won’t the Democrats be fair and offer the same standard that they offered her?
