Luo, of San Francisco, was shot at a home in the 2400 block of Moraga St. at about 5:45 p.m., according to police.
Police said two males wearing masks and armed with handguns entered the home, tied up nine other people, and shot Luo once in the chest.
Luo, who was not bound, was pronounced dead at the scene. The others were not injured.
Police released four photographs of the suspects taken from surveillance cameras mounted on the home. Two of the photographs depict a suspect walking a victim into the residence.
While police have not said what, if anything, was stolen, the photographs appear to indicate the suspects left with a bag they did not bring into the house.
Police Chief George Gascon acknowledged Friday media reports that the home may have been used for prostitution, but said, “We’re not prepared to call it a brothel yet.”
