MARTINEZ — A Craigslist prostitute has been sentenced to 33 years to life in prison for killing a retired bank executive and setting fire to his Bay Point home in 2008.
Alejandro Rivera, 24, testified at his trial earlier this month that he strangled Theodore Neff on Dec. 3, 2008, after Neff warned him that he could have been exposed to HIV.
