The story about former CNET Commander Norman Wielsch and Concord Private Investigator Christopher Butler, who are alleged to have engaged in a spectrum of corrupt activities, including stealing methamphetamine and marijuana from evidence and selling it for profit, protection of a prostitution establishment, and armed robberies of prostitutes, was on the American Life radio program over the weekend.
The hosts of the program worked with Peter Crooks at Diablo Magazine, who wrote a story called ”The Setup”, which was about Wielsch & Butler and their failed reality show about the group of Private Investigator Moms. The radio program adds in additional voices who were not on the record at the time of Diablo Magazine’s story. It’s definitely worth a listen!
